Senior Technical Staff Engineer-Product Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Staff Engineer-Product Marketing to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your technical expertise and marketing skills to drive business growth and success in the data center market.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a product marketing strategy for Tier 1 data center clients, working closely with sales and product management teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling product value propositions. This role requires a strong understanding of data center technologies, including storage and server solutions, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a product marketing strategy for Tier 1 data center clients, including creating key deliverables such as RFQ responses, pricing strategy, market and competitive analysis, and product collateral.
- Work closely with sales and product management teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling product value propositions.
- Present effectively to Microchip Tier 1 customers and internal audiences, demonstrating a strong understanding of data center technologies and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with data center and server storage customers, identifying opportunities for growth and driving business plans to achieve success.
- Bachelor's degree in EE or equivalent technical experience required.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent business education/experience preferred.
- 12.5+ years of semiconductor product marketing experience, with a focus on storage solutions marketing.
- Experience with storage and SOC technologies, including SAS, SATA, PCIe, NVMe, RAID, memory technologies, device drivers, and embedded firmware.
- Experience working with data center and/or server/storage customers, with a strong understanding of data center architectures and trends.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strong external customer and partnership relationships, with a focus on driving business growth and success.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Aggressive focus on winning design opportunities, developing and driving business plans to achieve success.
- Successful demonstration of relationship building across functional groups to gain support for department and/or group goals.
- Travel: U.S/Asia 20-30%.
