We are seeking a strategic and data-driven leader to join our team as a Director, Clinical Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical operations strategies, ensuring the seamless delivery of comprehensive primary care services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic planning, integration, and implementation of clinical operations initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate program needs and outcomes.
- Ensure clinical operations operate within approved financial mandates, reviewing and endorsing budgets and financial plans.
- Oversee the development of policies and procedures to support integration and standardization of health programs and services.
- Ensure standardization of practice, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in patient-centered care.
- Represent the clinical operations department in the health service community, civic, and provincial governments.
- Develop and implement performance management criteria to inform program and individual performance plans.
- Provide leadership to support engagement and respect through effective feedback, retention strategies, and work practices that support work-life balance.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's level of education in a field related to healthcare management, supplemented with seven to ten years of recent related, progressively responsible leadership experience. The candidate should demonstrate the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework, including Clear, Caring, and Courageous, and create conditions for people to succeed.
The candidate should also possess professional and technical capabilities, including:
- Demonstrated leadership in roles to lead and move forward complex organizational change issues across health service needs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to incorporate department/site needs within the broader context of the health delivery system and multiple site/service requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work and lead within a matrix reporting structure.
- Sound working knowledge of planning concepts related to service delivery, budgetary, staffing, quality, and strategic initiatives.
- Proven presentation skills within a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven proficiency of leading practice in the field of healthcare leadership.
