About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Manager/Estimator to join our Service division in Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, and O&M manuals.

As a Junior Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for coordinating project communications with internal and external stakeholders, developing project schedules, reviewing contracts, estimating changes, purchasing materials and equipment, and managing project financial performance.

You will also be responsible for developing and assembling start-up submittals and other project documentation, engaging with contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors, and working with foremen and site superintendents to review project documents and discuss labor requirements and staffing.

Additionally, you will work with the Safety Manager and on-site team to ensure safety on site is our top priority.

Requirements
  • 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry
  • Basic understanding of contract law, project management, and estimating
  • Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, and MS Project an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Good organizational skills
