Hospitality Operations Director

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hospitality Operations Director to join our team at Horizon Inn.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and staff efficiency.
• Supervise and manage a team of hospitality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster growth and development.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials and services that meet our hotel's standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and execute marketing strategies, promoting our hotel's brand and services.
• Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and welcoming for guests.
• Maintain open communication channels with customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Coordinate events and functions, providing exceptional service to our guests and clients.

• Assist newcomers and refugees in accessing essential services, such as housing, transportation, and storage.
• Facilitate social and labour market integration by connecting them with community resources, language training, and skills development opportunities.

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to Indigenous workers, fostering their growth and success within our organization.
• Cultivate relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations, promoting mutual understanding and respect.
• Offer cultural competency training and awareness programs to create a welcoming work environment for all employees.

• A competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
