Job Summary
Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Casual Instructor in our Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs. As a Casual Instructor, you will be responsible for providing clinical dental services, instruction, and assessment of student performance in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical dental services to students and patients.
- Develop and deliver instructional content to students in the Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to improve clinical skills.
- Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings to ensure they meet program standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of dental principles, procedures, and techniques, as well as adult education principles.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Graduate of a dental program.
- Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
- Minimum of two years recent and relevant dental experience in a dental office utilizing current clinical dental techniques.
- Effective communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated valuing of diversity.
