We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital's linen supply.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a supply of clean, sanitary linen for various hospital departments
- Collect soiled linen from various hospital departments
- Maintain the linen rooms in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner in accordance with established procedures
- Wash, dry, fold, sort, and label personal resident clothing
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

HoursThis is a casual relief position, requiring flexibility to work various shifts.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $20.13 - $21.69.
