Job Title: Foot Care Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Foot Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality foot care services to patients in various settings. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will assess and treat disorders of the foot using conservative methods, promoting foot health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat foot conditions, including diabetic foot care, nail care, and wound care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education on foot health and services to patients, community residents, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new models of care in limb preservation.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
