We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at CleanTeck Services Canada Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. Your duties will include sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture. You will also be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties. If you have a strong work ethic and are able to work with minimal supervision, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel
