We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Vision Center team as a Vision Care Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with eye appointments, and maintaining the overall appearance of our store.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with booking eye appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Help maintain the store's standards, including filing, cleaning, displays, and organization.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and helping customers with their vision needs.
- Communicate effectively with vision parties, including opticians, customers, and doctors.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain layaway and ensure customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Perform technical measurements of eyewear.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Knowledge of optical products and services.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
