Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at International Rubber Products Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, prepare design drawings and specifications, and design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
  • Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
  • Prepare contracts and tenders
  • Prepare standards and schedules
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
  • Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • MS Excel

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
