We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team at International Rubber Products Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, prepare design drawings and specifications, and carry out mechanical tests and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Prepare design drawings and specifications
  • Carry out mechanical tests and analyses
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs and fixtures
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
  • Prepare contracts and tenders
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Word
