We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing Specialist to join our team at WesternBee Associate Engineering Services Ltd.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as a non-destructive testing trainee for 15 hours per week, assisting in various NDT tasks. The role involves conducting tests to ensure quality or detect defects, interpreting conductivity meters and visual indicators, establishing NDI techniques and calibration standards, and setting up, calibrating, operating, and interpreting various NDT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct NDT tests to ensure quality or detect defects
  • Interpret conductivity meters and visual indicators
  • Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards
  • Set up, calibrate, operate, and interpret NDT equipment
  • Evaluate objects under inspection to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations

Working Conditions:

The position requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors. Overtime may be required.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train on-site
  • No remote work option available
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Willingness to travel regularly, with travel expenses paid by employer
