Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Richard Roscoe. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Change non-sterile dressings as required
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook meals for clients

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Non-smoking work site environment

Work Term: Temporary

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week
