About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Precious Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Assist clients with mobility, including transfers and ambulation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid Personal Support Worker certification.
  • 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in home care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to client-centered care.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
