Respiratory Therapist

Lakeridge Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our respiratory services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing and treatment planning.
- Document patient care and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies through ongoing education and training.
- Diploma in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario.
- Current B.C.L.S. and Ontario Heart Foundation Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven problem-solving and teaching skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Previous clinical experience and advanced educational preparation are assets.
- PALS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
