Main Responsibilities

As a Food and Beverage Porter, you will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences in our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include moving, lifting, and transporting food and beverage equipment, furniture, and supplies, ensuring the premises are clean and tidy.

Catering and Events
  • Set up banquet tables, chairs, and other equipment to meet event requirements.
  • Handle barback duties, including setting up and restocking liquor, mix, CO2, ice, and glassware.
  • Assist with bussing tables between courses.
  • Ensure the event room is clean and tidy.
  • Perform other tasks as required to deliver a flawless event experience.
Restaurant and Bar
  • Remove dirty glassware, ashtrays, and flatware from the restaurant, lounge, and gaming floor.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
  • Handle barback duties, including setting up and restocking liquor, mix, CO2, ice, and glassware.
  • Ensure there are sufficient supplies of clean glassware, tableware, and ashtrays.
  • Assist with other tasks as required to maintain a tidy and well-supplied restaurant and bar.
Combined Position
  • Ensure there are sufficient supplies of clean glassware, tableware, and ashtrays.
  • Set up banquet tables, chairs, and other equipment to meet event requirements.
  • Deliver dirty glassware, ashtrays, and flatware to the dish pit.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Handle barback duties, including setting up and restocking liquor, mix, CO2, ice, and glassware.
  • Assist with other tasks as required.
Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidates are subject to a background check and must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
  • Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment, and you may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace.
  • SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

  • A combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.

  • Experience working in providing customer service and working with many diverse situations and personalities.
