About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at Ontario Impex of Canada Inc. as an Information Systems Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Confer with clients to identify their information systems requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware, and develop policies and procedures to minimize the effects of security breaches.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle to ensure the highest level of security and quality assurance.
  • Conduct reviews to assess the quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality and execute and document the results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
