Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OSMOW'S MEDITERRANEAN AUTHENTIC RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that they are ordered and received in a timely manner.

Lead by Example

Establish methods to meet work schedules, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Customer Service

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Financial Management

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Reporting and Compliance

Prepare and submit reports, and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience in a food service environment is an asset.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and quality food production.

Physical Demands

Walking, standing, and lifting may be required.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential.
