Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OSMOW'S MEDITERRANEAN AUTHENTIC RESTAURANT. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, as well as submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, walking, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative.
