About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Leather Living Furniture inc. in a furniture manufacturing company setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to produce high-quality leather goods.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a hybrid work setting.
  • Group insurance benefits and piece work compensation.
  • 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
Language and Work Setting

The work language is English, and the work setting is a furniture manufacturing company.
