Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Fraserway Prekast Ltd. As a key member of our pre-construction team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates and project timelines
  • Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure compliance with budgets and schedules
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to improve project profitability
Requirements:
  • College diploma or degree in a related field (e.g. construction management, engineering, architecture)
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
