Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Attendant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, operating dishwashers, and preparing simple food items. You will also be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, as well as removing kitchen garbage and trash.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
