About the Role

Laura Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Lead to join our team. As an Inventory Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of inventory in and out of our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing inventory shipments, including unpacking, scanning, and stocking merchandise.
  • Executing daily pick and pack processes to fulfill online orders and maintaining stockroom inventory accuracy.
  • Conducting daily replenishment of items sold from within the store using our Stock Replenishment Solution.
  • Adjusting ticketed prices for selected merchandise storewide.
  • Preparing stock for transfer to other stores and maintaining receiving and stock areas.
  • Assisting with operational activities such as cashier duties and other POS tasks, steaming, and visual merchandising.
  • Leading and guiding other associates in stock-related functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions and Environment

  • Available to work Monday to Friday, minimum 35 hours/week.
  • Participates in inventory twice per year, all training sessions, and staff meetings.
  • Works in a standing/walking position and lifts approximately 20-50 lbs of product/boxes.
  • Uses ladder as required.
