Invigilation Specialist

As an Invigilator at Saskatchewan Polytechnic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and security of our exams. Your primary responsibility will be to administer and invigilate IELTS exams, working closely with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and invigilate IELTS exams, ensuring the security and integrity of the testing process
- Prepare and set up exam rooms, including arranging seating charts and specialized dividers
- Check facilities and equipment to ensure they are ready for exams
- Take payments and complete cash out at the end of each shift
- Follow exam security protocols and ensure candidate check-in procedures are followed
- Supervise exam takers, ensuring they adhere to exam rules and regulations
- Record start and end times of exams, and ensure all exam materials are collected and accounted for
- Provide support to candidates with special needs, including reading and scribing exams
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
As an Invigilator, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work in multiple locations.
