Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pacific Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy of prescription medications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet patients and confirm the accuracy of prescription information
* Enter patient care information into our system
* Adjudicate third-party claims (if necessary)
* Dispense prescription medications accurately
* Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
* Provide general OTC information to patients and refer to pharmacists as needed
* Handle customer prescription pick-ups

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is mandatory
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrated customer service experience
* Proficient computer and data entry skills
* Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
