Pharmacy Assistant Position at Wilson Compounding Pharmacy

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Wilson Compounding Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining medication and pharmaceutical inventories, and supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Management: Ensure the accuracy of prescription information, including verifying patient data and medication orders.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication and pharmaceutical inventories, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet patient needs.
  • Support to Pharmacists: Provide administrative support to our pharmacists, including entering client data into databases and managing prescription records.
  • Client Communication: Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, including answering questions and providing information about medications and treatment options.

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.

Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
