Job Description

As a Data Architect Lead, you'll plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet business requirements. You'll conduct workshops with customers' business and IT teams, capture, document, and summarize business requirements, prioritize business use cases, and define implementation roadmaps.

  • You'll provide solutions for various data and analytics requirements, such as Greenfield EDW, Data Lake Implementation, Data Estate Modernization, Tools/Technology comparison and selection, etc.
  • Create architecture and high-level design for data & analytics solutions, provide effort estimates for large EDW/Data Lake implementations, guide technical teams on deliverables, and get solutions implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture strategy for the organization.
  • Orchestrate data and analytics solutions projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.
  • Evaluate results of Enterprise Solutions projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in architecting and building data and analytics solutions, including Azure Data platform implementation. You should have a deep understanding of ETL, reporting, data modeling concepts, and data warehouse architecture.

  • Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems.
  • Experience in working with SAP, SAP BW, SAP HANA as sources and data extraction from SAP sources to EDW/Azure.
  • Hands-on experience of working with Azure cloud components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, EventHub, Azure Synapse (SQL Data Warehouse), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and DataBricks.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to the data architecture team.

What We Offer

In this role, you can expect a competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid time off.
