Emergency Medicine Physician

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team at Hants Community Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be able to provide high-quality patient care.
The hospital offers a range of services, including 24-hour emergency department, inpatient care, long-term care facility, and surgery programs. The physician will be responsible for providing full scope of practice as an emergency physician and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
The expected hours of work are full-time, with 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour night shifts available. The physician will be responsible for flexible shifts each month and single coverage shifts.
The qualifications for this position include eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia, membership with the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. The physician must also have a current PALS Certification, ATLS Certification, and ACLS Certification.
