Job Description

Boston Pizza (West Springs) is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective kitchen operations, including scheduling and staff supervision.
  • Coordinate food preparation and portioning, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a physically demanding environment, requiring standing for extended periods and maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.
