Senior Software Engineer 2 - Unity Job Description

About the Role:

Zynga Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer 2 to join our Unity team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing new and innovative features for our games using C# and Unity cross-platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new features for our games, ensuring high-quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PM, UI/UX, Art, and QA, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain Unity projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Work closely with junior engineers to mentor and guide them in their development.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in C#, C++, Unity, or other game development engines.
  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing small pods and leading junior engineers.
  • Strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills.
  • Passion for game development and a desire to optimize game performance.
