About the Role

MSS MACHINING & FABRICATION INC. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal parts.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and large workloads.
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain manual dexterity.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail and work under pressure to meet customer requirements.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and excellent written communication.
  • Flexibility and Organization: Show flexibility and organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
