Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Riverbend PSC. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure, handle, process, dispatch, and test specimens in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform various laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and ECG testing.
  • Report results accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Competency in phlebotomy and ECG certification.
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PSC Community or Mobile outpatient experience within the past six months.
  • Phlebotomy experience with adult and pediatric patients within the past two years.
  • Experience in performing ECGs within the past two years.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $23.72 to $29.56 per hour.
  • A temporary full-time position with a temporary end date of December 30, 2024.
  • A 7.75-hour shift with a 2-week cycle and a shift pattern of days, evenings, and weekends.
