Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Credit Risk Analytics and Modeling to join our team. As a key member of our risk management group, you will be responsible for monitoring market risk and implementing risk management systems and processes to minimize any risk to the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quarterly monitoring process for AIRB and IFRS 9 models, ensuring regulatory reports reflect the bank's true loss experience and provisioning.
  • Provide expert support on data preparation and manipulation for AIRB and IFRS 9 credit risk models, including constructing cohorts, conducting pattern analysis, and inferring potential impacts on parameters and modeling.
  • Lead initiatives to monitor, assess, and enhance data quality across various systems, with a focus on retail products and their usage in modeling frameworks.
  • Ensure all processes and reports comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal modeling standards, working closely with model validation, internal audit, and regulators as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data analytics in credit risk modeling.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, computer science, finance, economics, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, data science, or a related field, with a strong understanding of credit risk modeling and consumer lending products.
  • Advanced knowledge of data manipulation and analytical skills, with expertise in Python, SAS, SQL, and MS Office Suite.
  • Effective communication and translation of technical expertise into business language.
