We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Risk Modeling and Analytics to join our team at BMO. This is a critical role that will lead credit loss allowance modeling and analytics activities within our Credit Risk Modeling function.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk models to support credit risk management and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the development and maintenance of credit risk models, including IFRS9/CECL models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of risk models.
- Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on risk modeling and analytics.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve risk modeling and analytics practices.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or finance.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in risk modeling and analytics, with a focus on credit risk.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing risk models that meet regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
