Drywall Installation Job Description

RNK Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, filling joints and holes, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring and cutting them to fit the required areas.
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs, as well as metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in cold, hot, and dusty environments. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Experience in drywall installation is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Language:

The primary language of work is English, and the work schedule is 30 hours per week.
