We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team at Mount Norquay. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairs to buildings and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or concerns to management
- Operate and maintain various equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners and power tools
- Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or related field
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
