Mount Norquay is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, and other areas as needed.
- Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
- Physical Demands: Work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or related role.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, and judgement.
