Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority.

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work within a client and family-centered care model, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care plans, as well as providing education and support to clients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to clients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
