We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.
About the RoleThe Licensed Practical Nurse will work closely with the care team in direct care activities such as assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions for patients in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will have a passion for nursing and a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care.

- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one (1) year recent experience working in a related area of care.
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Demonstrate ability in nursing practice related to caring for patients in the Emergency Department.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pathophysiology related to common diagnosis related to designated patient group.
- Demonstrated ability to perform nursing assessments and interventions related to common diagnosis and specific clinical situations relevant to the designated patient group.
