Job Title: Per Diem Social Worker

McLean Hospital is a leading psychiatric hospital committed to providing high-quality mental health services. We are seeking a Per Diem Social Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Social Worker will be responsible for providing clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning, to patients with mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a managed care environment and be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning, to patients with mental health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with managed care organizations to ensure effective care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
  • Attaining LCSW licensure is not required upon hire, but it is a requirement to receive LCSW licensure within 12 months of hire.
  • Experience in providing clinical services, including assessment, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Experience working in a managed care environment and ability to work collaboratively with managed care organizations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records systems.
