Key Responsibilities- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the salon, ensuring smooth operation and maximum efficiency.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Regularly assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Establish or Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Manage Contracts for Advertising or Marketing Strategies: Negotiate and oversee advertising and marketing agreements to promote the salon's services.
- Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and manage a team of stylists and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support newcomers and refugees in their employment journey.
- Support for Youths: Collaborate with government or community programs to support youth employment initiatives.
- Support for Veterans: Engage with programs that support veterans in finding employment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Partner with initiatives that support indigenous peoples in the workforce.
- Supports for Visible Minorities: Participate in programs that promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a management role.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
