Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the salon, ensuring smooth operation and maximum efficiency.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Regularly assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish or Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and enforce rules and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage Contracts for Advertising or Marketing Strategies: Negotiate and oversee advertising and marketing agreements to promote the salon's services.
  • Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Recruit, train, and manage a team of stylists and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support newcomers and refugees in their employment journey.
  • Support for Youths: Collaborate with government or community programs to support youth employment initiatives.
  • Support for Veterans: Engage with programs that support veterans in finding employment.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a management role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
