Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 2342754 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our transportation department.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions using GPS equipment and computer systems.
- Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques to improve overall performance.
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
- Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate records.
- AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) are required.
- Criminal record check is mandatory.
- Attention to detail, flexibility, judgment, and reliability are essential.
- Will train, and a permanent position with 35 hours per week is available.
- Language of work: English.
