About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at BBE Expediting Ltd. As a key member of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Freight Forwarding Operations: Organize and oversee the logistics of freight forwarding, including planning and executing the movement of goods.
  • Monitor and Track Shipments: Keep track of shipments and ensure that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Communicate with Clients and Stakeholders: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory and supplies of goods, including ordering and stocking materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that logistics operations are aligned with business goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-7 months of experience in a related field, such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • Certifications: Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate and Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Office and dispatch management software.
