Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance support to our Canadian manufacturing facilities, with a primary focus on London, Ontario. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance support to ensure optimal facility performance
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and respect within the team
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Team Manager to administer daily maintenance operations and monitor team performance
  • Train new and existing employees to build technical and business competencies within the team
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated practice of leadership principles and organization skills
  • Analytical/critical thinking skills to determine risk assessment and prioritize multiple requests
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues and concerns
  • Ability to understand financial impact of business decisions affecting staffing, product components, inventory, etc.
  • Licensed Millwright (433A) or Industrial Electrician (442A or equivalent)
  • Food processing/packaging experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in both Mechanical and Electrical trades preferred
