Job Description

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Subject Matter Expert to provide testing support for the Linkin Enterprise Case Management and Payment system and EBMP project. The position will be a 6-month term, reporting to the Manager of Information Technology and Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional Testing and Improvement: Provide a lead role in functional testing and improvement activities regarding the Linkin system and reporting, including reviewing business requirements, developing test plans, creating data scenarios, data entry, documenting test requirements, and designing and completing functional testing.
  • Standards and Procedures Development: Develop and document standards and procedures that must be followed by the project team, caseworkers, admin services workers, financial services staff, and external partners to ensure a sustained support approach, including developing end-user training and guides.
  • Data Accuracy and Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-divisional staff to ensure the accuracy of the data collected within the Linkin system and eORS that is used in reports and data extracts to support effective program analysis in assessing strategic priorities and reporting on outcomes.
  • Technical Skills: Possess working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and IBM COGNOS reporting, and experience with CFP case management practices within the Linkin system, as well as knowledge of CFP policies, including authority for payments and business processes for CFP, Finance, and Corporate Services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant experience using the Linkin system, working with standard office technology (Word, Excel, and SharePoint), and communication tools, screen capture tools, and strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
