About the Job:

At Stan Canada, we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install drywall sheets in commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the industry and possess excellent physical capabilities, including handling heavy loads and working at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms

Work Environment:

The Drywall Installer will work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings, and may be required to work at heights or in dusty environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical capabilities and be able to handle heavy loads.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in the drywall installation industry
  • Excellent physical capabilities, including handling heavy loads and working at heights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
