We are seeking a Casual Call-In Cargo Agent to join our St. John's, NL team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to cargo inquiries and providing freight quotes;
  • Accepting small freight, issuing waybills, and handling cargo;
  • Providing internal and external customer support;
  • General accounting and completion of daily sales reports;
  • Processing cargo for shipping based on customer needs;
  • Performing general office and warehouse duties as required;
  • Operating a forklift;
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of High School;
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of products;
  • Basic accounting knowledge;
  • Ability to perform duties related to cash sales and POS system;
  • Previous experience in customer service would be an asset;
  • Ability to lift weight handling up to 50 lbs.;
  • Excellent communication and organization skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
