About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cook 1 to join our team at The Glenerin Inn Hotel and Spa in Mississauga, Ontario. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare meals according to menus and recipes
  • Ensure meals are attractive, the correct temperature and portion size, and that service is timely
  • Report any recipe shortages, discrepancies or quality issues to the Chef or Supervisor
  • Clean and sanitize cooking station daily
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen as required
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a high-school diploma or equivalent, a valid Food Handler's certificate, and 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen. Previous experience in a banquet or restaurant setting is preferred. You must be able to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
