About Your New Role

Herschel Supply Co. is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Sales Associate to join our Sherway Gardens team from November to January. As a key member of the Herschel Retail team, you will create an engaging shopping experience for our customers, interacting with people in a real and authentic way to deliver next-level customer service.

A Day in the Life

As a Sales Associate, you will:

  • Welcome customers to the store and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Keep on top of product knowledge to assist customers, answer questions, and make recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate all features, advantages, and benefits of our products to customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of in-store stock availability on the sales floor, in the backroom, and online.
  • Actively maintain store appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the store is clean and well presented.
  • Receive and process stock from the warehouse, including unpacking, scanning/receiving, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing, and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in the backroom and assigned storage areas.
  • Assist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale preparation as required.
  • Ensure items from change rooms are returned to the appropriate area - sized and tagged.
  • Complete assigned clean-up duty.
  • Utilize the Point-of-Sale system and Mobile Point of Sale System, process payments, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Stay on top of new product launches, trends, and initiatives.
  • Participate in staff training and store events when required.

Availability

We expect all part-time employees to be available for opening and closing shifts a minimum of three times per week. All employees must be available at least one full weekend day. Part-time is 25 hours or less per week. However, depending on customer volume, we can allocate full-time hours to support the business.

Wage Band

$17.20 - $18.40 per hour, depending on experience.
