The Pharmacy Support Assistant will provide administrative support to the Pharmacy team, assisting with various duties and projects under the supervision of pharmacy staff. This role will involve developing resources, reports, and data analysis, as well as conducting literature reviews and program audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute medications via the medication distribution system.
- Learn and function with pharmacy software systems.
- Compound and manufacture pharmaceutical products.
- Manage inventory control functions.
- Support the Regional Pharmacy Program.
- Distribute controlled substances and maintain records.
- Assist with research and literature searches for drug information requests.
- Complete and present a project assigned by the Manager of Pharmacy Services.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
